Meet the Granite
Springs Staff....
 Kevin Adams
Senior Pastor
Kevin grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan and
served as pastor of Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Princeton,
Minnesota from 1987-1991. Kevin and Gerry moved to Rocklin, California (a
suburb of Sacramento) to begin Granite Springs Church. Kevin loves that
fact that many of the people attending Granite Springs were not going to
church before this congregation began. Kevin received a Doctor of Ministry
degree in Preaching from Gordon-Conwell Seminary in South Hamilton, MA
where he was mentored by Dr. Haddon Robinson. Kevin has been married to
Gerry for 23 years. They have three children--all adolescents! Kevin also
serves as the “New Church Development Specialist” for Central California
and as director of the “Sierra Leadership Network,” a training program for
new church leaders. In his spare time Kevin coaches soccer, rides a
mountain bike, watches old movies, and visits Lake Tahoe.

Doug Bouws
Pastor of Hospitality
Doug grew up in Grandville, Michigan as the oldest of four siblings. As a
kid he liked to ski, trade baseball cards and tease his siblings. Doug
graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor in Political
Science. Following a year in marketing at the Amway World Headquarters,
Doug moved to Dillon, Colorado where he worked as a children’s ski
instructor at Keystone Ski Resort.
Doug graduated from Calvin Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity
in May of 2002. Doug came to Granite Springs as part of a seminary
internship for the 2001-02 year. Following Doug’s internship, he continued
on with Granite Springs as a resident pastor. In August of 2004, Doug
became Granite Springs Pastor of Hospitality. Doug has been married to
Sheri since 2000. He has two pre-school aged daughters, Ellie and Sophia.
As Pastor of Hospitality, Doug is responsible for leading and directing
church wide systems that build grace-filled hospitality. Doug works with a
variety of ministries including small groups, deacons, children’s
ministries, usher/greeters so that every ministry feeds our desire to
experience the wonder of grace at Granite Springs.

Assistant to the Senior Pastor

Rocklin from Grenoble, France. They spent 2 years there on a Foreign
Service Employee opportunity with Hewlett Packard. You can hardly tell
